Saint Theresa was miraculously cured from an illness at the young age of 8 when a statue of the Blessed Mother smiled at her. At the age of 15, she decided to become a Carmelite nun. She also wrote an autobiography before dying from tuberculosis at the age of 24. She was declared a Doctor of the Church in 1997 and has many miracles attributed to her. It is said that when St. Theresa answers your prayers, a display or scent of roses soon follows. Honor the saint with a statue of her likeness.
