St Clare heard St Francis preaching and from that day surrendered her life to God. She founded the Poor Clare Nuns at San Damiano and led them for 40 years. As she lay dying, too ill to attend Mass, an image of the service appeared on her cell wall. Thus becoming patron saint of television.
