Availability: In stock
Saint Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer victims. According to tradition, the saint had a vision of the Virgin Mary which told him to travel to Siena and join the Servites. He was afflicted with cancer of the foot and amputation was prescribed. The night before the surgery, he prayed for a miracle. The next morning, he was cured. Statues of Saint Peregrine pay tribute to his miraculous recovery by positioning the saint with his robe raised and his leg exposed.
