The tale of Our Lady of Guadalupe tells the story of Juan Diego in Mexico. Juan Diego was approached by Our Lady and asked to relay a request for a church to the local bishop. The bishop was skeptical and asked for a special sign. In response, Our Lady produced roses when they were not in season and an image of her likeness on Juan Diego's cloak. It is said that when Our Lady of Guadalupe answers a prayer, a display or scent of roses soon follows.
