Saint Kevin was a bishop in Ireland that was known for his holiness and virtue. He once constructed a beehive cell on a hillock in Glendalough that became the prototype for all of Ireland. In the penitential season, St. Kevin would retire to a stone cell known as St. Kevin's bed, which overlooked a lake. There, he would pray and fast. The original handcrafted St. Kevin pewter statue by Jeweled Cross depicts the saint holding a staff and wearing ornate robes. It is small in size and fits perfectly on a desk or in a purse.
