Medal made in Portugal.
Perhaps one of the best known statues of the Child Jesus, originated from a monastery in Bohemia. It was then obtained as a wedding gift and passed on to the Carmelites. Due to unrest in Prague, the Carmelite fled in 1628. Fr. Cyril returned in 1638 and found the broken statue amidst the ruins of the church. After the statue was repaired, miracles were reported, resulting in increased veneration.
