Saint Elizabeth of Hungary was a Hungarian Princess that was dedicated to feeding the poor and hungry. During her life, she built two hospitals and took a vow of voluntary poverty despite her royal background. She is known as the patroness of regular and secular Franciscans. The St. Elizabeth of Hungary statue by Jeweled Cross depicts the saint wearing a robe and crown while holding a basket of fruit. The Saint Elizabeth of Hungary pewter statue comes with a laminated, wallet-size prayer card for reference.
