STORY ABOUT HIM
Patron of Ireland, born in England from the time of the Romans in the late 300s. At the age of 16 he was enslaved by some Irish pirates and remained as a Slav taking care of Sheep in Ireland. Later he managed to flee and return to England where he had his conversion, then he decided to travel to Ireland again since the Irish were pagan and as he had been with them for 6 years, he learned their language and customs. He returned as a priest and began to evangelize them. The reason why the clover is used in the figures of Saint Patrick is because he explained to the Irish the Holy Trinity through the clover, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Outside of that, for the Irish, the 3 and the trio was very important since they were of a religion that had many gods. When the Irish came to this city because they were starving on their island, they brought the devotion of Saint Patrick and encouraged it. The first St. Patrick’s parade was in Boston and there it spread throughout the United States. People use a lot the green color that Saint Patrick uses as well as the green of the clover, it is a characteristic of the Irish and a tradition that they celebrate every year on the 17th of March.

PRAYER
I wrap myself today and attach to myself a powerful force, the invocation of the Trinity, the faith in the three persons, the confession of the unity of the creator of the universe. The strength of Christ with his baptism, the strength of his crucifixion, the strength of his resurrection and assumption, the strength of his coming and the day of judgment. And I ask you through the intersection of Saint Patrick to protect me with the army of God that saves me from the networks of the devil, from seductions, from vices, from nature, from all men who wish me evil, from afar and close up. All this I ask in the name of your son Jesus Christ, Amen.
