Priest/Preaching/Clergy

A stole is a type of liturgical vestment worn by various clergy members in Christian denominations. It is similar in shape to a scarf, but is usually much longer, typically 7.5 to 9 feet long. Stoles are often made of silk or other fine linens and include decorative embroidered crosses or other religious symbols. The center of the stole is meant to be worn around the back of the neck with the ends hanging down parallel to each other in the front. Stoles may or may not include fringe at the ends.
