The Italian Caridad del Cobre Statue features a beautiful depiction of Our Lady of Charity. The statue is named after the story of Caridad del Cobre, which tells the tale of 2 Cuban natives and a slave that went to sea in search of salt. After a storm, the trio happened upon a statue of the Blessed Mother holding the Child Jesus. The statue was attached to a plank that was inscribed with "I am the Virgin of Charity." Religious statues are ideal for homes or churches.
