Stadelmaier was established in 1930 by A.W. Stadelmaier and his wife Magdalena. Stadelmaier's mission is to continue to be the combination of originality and creativity, while incorporating age old craftsmanship. The result is the creation of modern and traditional vestments and clerical apparel. Stadelmaier had the great honor of designing and creating the vestments worn, on three occasions, by Pope Benedict XVI, during his visit to the United States in 2008 in Washington DC and New York City.
